The Education Area of the Cathedral of Tarragona is the result of a collaboration agreement between the Chapterhouse of the Cathedral of Tarragona, the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Learning Field of the City of Tarragona, and DNA Tourism & Leisure, as the management company of the visits to the Cathedral.
Organised groups belonging to educational centres (accompanied by responsible teachers) of the European Union have the possibility of booking the services in education. This is intended to complement the visit and thus contribute to the development of their training.
Teaching material with activities to expand the knowledge during the visit is available to the schools: CdA – Tarragona Medieval.
Visit without guide
The cultural visit includes the Cathedral, the Cloister, the Treasury and the Diocesan Museum.
The area of education recommends the teachers in charge to know the didactic material of the visits with activities and use those they consider for the tour (previous work, work in situ and work post-activity).

- Accompanying teachers: Free.
The reservation is not necessary but we recommend you inform us so we can advise you in case of an eventuality that prevents the visit.
Guided school visits
An official local guide explains the Cathedral and the Cloister (the rest of the set can be made for free).

Educational visit
A specialized monitor is responsible for the development of the activity. The Education Area of the Cathedral of Tarragona can adapt all the activities for primary schools, secondary schools, or those who want to prepare synthesis credits or research papers.
Educational centers with students between the ages of 6 and 18.
